First Aberdeen announces reintroduction of service 1A to and from RGU
First Aberdeen has today (Monday 20th February) reintroduced service 1A running from Aberdeen city centre to Robert Gordon University and back.
The service was previously operated until the start of the first Covid-19 lockdown in March 2020. With the return of students to full time learning in late 2022, demand for travel to and from the university has seen a significant increase in recent months, leading to its return.
It is expected students will have faster journeys from Robert Gordon University campus into the city centre while other services are also expected to see benefits in terms of on board space availability.
The 1A will also now be tracked on the First Bus App, allowing customers to see when the service is arriving and the on board capacity at that time.
